After graduating as a teacher with a drama major, Anne studied in Paris and London in mime, mask and acting. In Paris she studied at Studio Magenia and with the master of corporal mime Etienne Decroux.

In London she completed a two year acting course with The Academy of Dramatic Art (formerly EADA) and completed an ALAM with the London Academy of Dramatic Art (LAMDA). She remained in Britain performing in fringe theatre, the Edinburgh Festival, and performing in touring troupes in England.

On returning to Australia she completed a Bachelor of Arts (Drama) at QUT.  She has performed in theatre, TV and film.  Her teaching experience ranges from children through to adults.
